A few weekends ago, Cam and I travelled up to St Andrews to spend a nice weekend away at his parents’ to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary. I always love going up to stay with his family. Partially because they have three doggos that I love, but also because their house is in the middle of nowhere with fields all around so you literally feel like you’re so far away from everything… but in a good way! It’s nice to get away from the bustling city of Edinburgh sometimes and take a breather out in the countryside.
I didn’t take many photos of the family parts of the weekend, mainly because I was too busy enjoying myself and eating TONNES of food, but also because I don’t know how comfortable Cam’s family would be knowing that they’re getting posted on the internet for people to see. However, Cam and I did venture into the town of St Andrews on the Saturday, when it actually happened to be warm and sunny for a change, and managed to get some nice pictures.
(clearly I’m quite the professional when it comes to taking blog photos 🌚)
Bonus puppy pictures at the end for those of you who made it this far!
The majority of these photos were taken at St Andrews Cathedral and some were taken down at the shore. As you can see we got lucky with the weather and managed to get some good pictures, thanks to Cam for being my cameraman as always. Next time we head up I’ll try and take some more scenic photos and of course some more dog photos! I always document the trip on my Instagram stories, so give me a follow over there if you want to see more trips like this.
